You're the man Maga. I agree with smallhook. That is hard to come by.
Just think of the money you drop in just a few lures, let alone everything else.

Maga2120,

You & your buddy do deserve the kudo's. You guys went above and the call fo duty. But while your giving yourselves the HI5's. Take a moment and both of you thank your parents. You see it was your parents who gave you the knowledge to do what you did. There are alot of people who would have said freebie and this brother / sister fisherman would have been up a creek without a paddle. And then again there are those who would of handed it over to the park police/ boat house.

The guy that owned that tackle box probably wrote off ever seeing it again.  He doesn't know how lucky he was, with you finding it.  I bet maybe one in a hundred fishermen would do what you did.

Then probably drove it back to the lake and tossed it in...

Very commendable!  My wife had a flat this past week on 79 at the Slippery Rock exit and while I was on the phone with her a nice guy in a big rig stopped and changed the tire for her!  How cool, huh?

My g/f and I found a license on the first day, called left a message put it in the mail the next day, never heard from them at all. Even if he went right out and bought a replacement we could have got a thank you. Makes me wish I'd blown my nose with it instead.
