Hey everyone,
I am up In Erie for the next couple days on business...but there is always time to mix in some pleasure. I only ever fish in Erie for Steel.
Are their still smallmouth in the creeks? Or should I try my luck elsewhere?
I'm not looking for spots, secrest or any of that stuff

, just asking what might be the best bet for me. I don't have a boat, so i'll be wading or along the shore somewhere. Ill be near Fairview. Thanks a lot!

so...is it worth it to try the west-side creeks? I have heard they get pretty low in the summer. Or will I be fishing in stagnant, warm bath water puddles?

Go to the Bay and wade there. Always see guys wading in the bay. You may be able to get some bass or pike. I wouldnt imagine much is going on at the creeks yet, other than maybe some catfish at night or a few stragler bass but I doubt that even.

I guess that girl really gets around

On a serious note the bay would probably be your best bet fisher. Im going to check out Elk on wednesday evening to see if it's closed up any from last year so I can start launching my boat from there. I'll see what the fishing is like when I'm there and let you know.
