Live hellgremites are deadly for smallies and catfish if you can find them. A few year back a buddy of mine was camping near Ohiopyle and we fished near Ramcat run. He wanted a fish to eat at the campfire. I kept a 19 inch rainbow and  we found some hellgremites in it's stomach. I grew up along ten mile creek and used to seign them all the time and fish for smallies and cats. I got some and took them back up to the ramcat. I had a blast that day as the trout were absolutely killing them.  They are pretty durable as well if you hook them under the collar.....you can catch several fish on one. Use a float because their tail will catch the bottom and pull yoou under a rock and get you hung up.

Slightly off-topic... I'll never forget the day I was on Neshannock Creek and found a Dobsonfly being attacked by a spider in it's web. The spider was nearly the length of the Dobsonfly, and that was a scary sight in itself!
