How many antlerless tags do you get per year?
If the price went to 16 dollars, how many would you get?
If the price went to 36 dollars, how many would you get?

I usually go for 2. I'd go for that many no matter the price.....unless they went waaaaayyyyyy up in price. Try to get the same amount of beef that you'd get out of an average sized doe for 36 dollars. You wont, and you also won't get the thrill of the hunt by buying meat. Maybe this isn't a good way to judge what a doe tag should be worth, but it is one way to compare.

It depends on how many my landowners want taken off the property.  Some years as many as 15 and other years as few as 5.  My family goes through 4-5 deer a year, so the food banks get some sizable donations from me...

I normally get two and will continue for almost any price increase
I get two due to different areas I hunt.  Normally will only fill one in bow season or wait for flintlock season if I get a buck with the bow early.

I am usually am able to get 2 for 2D and I will buy 5-8 for 2B. I usually fill them all. My family eats 3-4 deer a year and the others are given to people who love the meat but do not hunt. Nothing goes to waste and there are ample deer where I hunt so please do not lecture on the number shot a year. Increases in price would not effect the number I buy.

I get three usually, but if they got real expensive, I dont think I'd do that.  For me, getting a tag doesn't automatically mean they will be filled.  If it did, I suppose I'd pay nearly any price for those three.

Get three very year.  Would probably continue to do so regardless of price.

Could fill them all most years but sometimes I do and sometimes I don't. Just nice to have that extra tag and hit the woods.

Add me to the list of 2 doe tags and price is not a problem...

plenty of deer in my area of 2F

and I have been filling two tags for quite a few years now....

I'm really excited about the up-coming season,

last year was the first year in over 50 that  I could not hunt deer because of heart surgery...

Soooo I'm really excited about being able to go and after the lower harvest of last year, there's alot of deer around here for this year !!!!!!

One 2F and one DMAP.....

I've been filling both... one in each area....

I could take two in the DMAP area but figure that would just reduce the deer in the DMAP more and maybe the next year there would be less DMAP coupons.. so I fill one in each area...

I get three.  One for 2A and two for 2B.  I like to hunt after Christmas so the 2B tags are for that.  Man I love deer hunting.

Did the price go up this year in NY,it says it was $68 last year.I buy the Super Sportsman as well with bow tag,or is it more because of the bow tag?

I also read the licenses are going to be a different material this year and you have to laminate it or it turns black, anyone else hear about this?

    I read it wrong oops!

LICENSES THIS YEAR WILL BE PRINTED ON A DIFFERENT COLOR STOCK PAPER. THEY CAN NOT BE LAMINATED, OR THEY WILL TURN BLACK, INVALIDATING THE LICENSE AND YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO PURCHASE A REPLACEMENT LICENSE.

I get them till they run out in my areas, Mostly for my daughter to fill.  I have killed a buck every year in PA since I was 12, but when the bonus tags started, I really learned how to hunt filling those tags.  I only shoot does in WVA now, but I like to have the tags for her and to save a few does with the unfilled ones.  We usually end up with 5 or 6 tags for 1A and 2F (including DMAP's).  I would buy them regardless of price.

I usually get 3/4 tags  and and fill them consistently.   Seen  a herd of 19 doe walk right under one of my stands the other evening as long with a couple other smaller herds from other trails . The bucks must be hanging back a little longer.   I did see a monster hanging out in a ditch  the other morning while working at the farm i hunt.
Don't think we will see any tags for a couple more weeks. Not sure when i got mine last year but it seems to me it was in mid September.

Regardless of price I will continue to get 1 tag for 2B.  I will be hunting 4D this archery with no doe tag.  If I get a buck then I will try to fill the 2B tag and that will end my season.  If I don't fill my buck tag I may go to the courthouse and get an extra 2B tag for late season.

I usually get two.  One for 4D and treasure lake.  I've gotten those for this year.  I sent for 4A this year as well.  Haven't heard anything yet.  The longer it goes without a return, the better chances I got, I suppose.

I usually eat about one deer a year, so price may have an effect on me.   I always give one to a friend, and the treasure lake deer go to hunters sharing harvest.  At what price would I stop buying tags?  I don't know.  My desire to shoot a lot of deer in a season is not very great, but the purchase of multiple tags comes from the desire to hunt from the first day of archery to the last day of flintlock.
