looking at these rods and saw where they are made in the usa.  price is great for an american made rod.  anyone have any info on these?  are they decent or cheaply made?

Diamondback puts out some very nice quality rods. I have casted there flawless series and found it to be an awesome rod..

are they financially okay....looks like their site is shuttered, maybe for lack of payments on bills or something?  see the also make bicycle stuff.

I don't think Diamondback is going under. They are still shipping rods to dealers. If anything, they are getting a new website, as their old one seemed outdated.

Diamondback rods are as well made as any others. I recently cast some different lengths and weights of the flawless series, and gotta say, they are well worth the money. The americana are good casting rods as well. I have a few diamondbacks, and really like them. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another, if i needed any more rods.
