looking for a good night fishing spot for me and some friends. not on a boat because of motion sickness.
closer to new york city would be preferred but would be willing to travel 1- 3 hours by car.

also a place where a campfire is allowed would be preferred.

if anyone can offer and recommendations or information it would be gladly appreciated.

This seems fishy to me . Sounds like you are asking for a good party spot . Nothing wrong with that .

haha sorry, me and my friends are trying to learn to go fishing. we dont really party that much. ive heard that the best fish is fish that's just been caught. the campfire was preferred cause not all of us have fishing rods and those people were gonna hang out by the camp fire while we fish. i want to go fluke fishing, and maybe some time later you guys can recommend a place but i just want to learn for now. i work until 9 pm everyday so i was asking around for a good night fishing spot, cause that's really the only time i have. sorry if it seemed as if i mislead you. didnt mean to do that.

Pier fishing is usually pretty good at night.
No campfire but some piers have other activities at night
If you can find it use fresh shrimp-NOT FROZEN
