MY OLD LADY USED IT FOR YEAR'S NIGHT FISHING. TO HER IT WORKED GREAT.

that's all I use to eliminate tangles more than anything, then about a ten ft fluor leader with a nail knot. pond test depends on conditions.

I've used it for 4 years now and still haven't changed my main line. I have backing on then 50 yards of fireline with a real small swivel at the end. Then i tie on about 3 fet of floro leader.

I've had 1 steelie break the 12 pound main line and that was my fault when i got the line tangled in the foreceps trying to unhook a fish in the water without handling it. I know 12 pound is heavy but its so thin in the smaller sizes.

It is worthless if its freezing though.
