I was curious as well but figured it would be muddy.  Any time the level goes up fast it will get muddy.  You really can't say at this or that level is when it is muddy.  We fished the river a good bit over the winter and the suttersville gauge was always 5.8 to 7ft but the water had good color.  It just depends how fast and how much it jumps up.

Was chocolate milk at Sutersville this AM when I went over the bridge at 7:30.  Looks like good weather until maybe Sat. PM so it should be ok for the weekend.  Probably still be a little stained by Sat. AM but fishable I would imagine.  Good thing about summer, it can come up and go back down in a flash.

Hey, I saw you out there Wednesday morning. We were setting up a canopy in the Marina.
I had an old duud with me and he was asking how far up the river you could peddle?
I told him I thought you could probably go pretty far because it didn't look like you
were working real hard.

Friday, Fished the Area between Birdie's Landing and the bridge to Liberty Boro.

Caught several nice Smallies, 2 Walleyes, 4 Sauger, and whole bunch of dinks.
Caught a 3" smallie on a 1" Tube. Should have taken a picture.

Saturday, fished the Mon Downstream of the Yough. Best location was between the RR Bridge
and the first Red Bouy below the McKeesport Bridge. Caught Smallies, Spots, 1 Largemouth, 3 Catfish, a carp and a Sheephead.

Sunday, only fished a short while and caught 3 catfish off the dock.

Headed out again Tuesday morning.
