Walleye season starts next weekend. Wheres everybody heading. I was thinking of taking the boat out and fishing around some of the islands on the "ghney"

The name of the island in kittaning right below the lock is slipping my mind right now. But I know years ago the walleye stacked up around there in June. I don't know what was going on, but it was a bonanza. You could have stepped from boat to boat from one side of the river to the other, that's how crowded it was.

Maybe Erie and try nights on the beaches and pluging, or trolling pymy?
