I launched at Elizabeth last Saturday and caught a couple of huge striped bass about 200 yards down from the dam closer to the West Elizabeth side of the river.  Good luck and if you see an old man fishin from a jetski around the spot I just mentioned, say hello.

Went down for a look tonight was still a little murky at the launch.  Visibility about a foot.  Didn't fish.

nope and I fully expected to catch a couple.  I was bouncing Medum Fatheads off of the bottom.  I did catch a few Sauger on the Yough later on that day.  They hit crawlers.

The river was hot for me an my buddy Saturday before it turned off color, fished the wall at Maxwell during the night using tube jigs an caught smallies, walleyes, saugers, an a few rock bass, seen the river this morning while at work an it still looks off color.

Do you fish from a jetski?

That's a pretty good idea.  Fast & mobile, just don't drop your rod I guess.

My kids bought a couple of jetskis and they asked me if I wanted to play around on one for awhile.  I went over to Shadlure and grabbed a dozen minnows and drove that thing up next to the dam.  The water where I was is a little rough for my 1965 15ft aluminum gamefisher but it was pretty easy from the jetski. Always tons of striped bass in that spot.  Same up at Charleroi.  Right past the dam is great striped bass water.  They must dig that highly oxygenated water.  I tied my rod to myself like I used too when I fished at the PigPen late at night.
