Went out for a ride, picked 2 wrong places, we were "Johnny come lately" at 3rd place but got a few.

]

Ran into Dano and shared some drifts

Big, strong fish, was way into the backing

Most fun fish of the day, swinging one of Plumbob's yellow head, white bunny fly. WHACK!!!

I think about 30", maybe 9-10+, But sure pulled hard. You know how some males just want to pull. That fricken fish got landed from the lake, 150 hundred yds. below where it was hooked. I don't know if he wants to swim back in for awhile.

yeah, the narrow pictures prevent you from seeing the 16 other guys that are fishing that hole

I know what you mean.. last time I was up I hooked into one at the same exact place. It ran through my buddys line who was on the other side of the creek and had him all fouled up stuck on my line. It was headed for the lake. She got right to the mouth where the waves were comign in. Jack was tryign to net it and my brother was in teh mouth trying to tail it before ti made it into the lake. But it was to fat to grab around the tail. We looked like a bunch of idiots. I'm we sure gave everyone a good show. Good times...

It's a 3" purple marabou/schlappen, red bodied bugger tied as a tube. Uglier 'n sin.

I hear ya. I guess any picture is some kind of "spot burn"
As far as the photos from the last few weeks, less than half were from The East Side.
I wonder if there even are "spots" to burn nowadays. Are hiking days are over, so we usually can count 1 person for every 15' of water in Pa.
The choice for us is to live with it or stay home. I'm staying home today, but will probably get the itch in a day or so.

nah, I don't really consider it a "spot burn", Glen
and I really do enjoy your pics.
Don't let me discourage you from posting them

I think the east side is great
(cause I was west of there yesterday)...

Pressure was light in the morning on Elk.
'least the spots we were at
I'm guessing cause many thought it would be in poor shape.
(Maybe why your side was packed before day light)

Elk was actually pret' near perfect conditions.
I couldn't find many dumb ones in the holes, but found a bunch of dumb ones in the pocket water
