Just for fun I'll stir the pot a little....

Does anyone here keep up with the Farmers Almanac? We've been getting a **** load of rain so far this year. What do you think that bodes for the fall.... will we have decent water levels and an early run?

Me... I'm just waiting for it to stop one of these days and not rain again until the first day of deer season.

I don't follow the almanac, barometric pressure, moon phases, etc. I fish through all weather conditions. However...

I can just about GUARANTEE it will rain the first day of deer season.

You guys act like the summer is over. Or almost wish it was. If you're that die-hard of a trout fisherman, and cant talk about the fishin that lies Right-In-Front of you. Maybe you should save yer posts for the fall. Just Sayin!

I do wish it was over.  Cause that means I am home from Iraq and can start hunting and fishing with the rest of you....Plus I'm done with 120+ temps everyday!!!  And you guys are more then welcomed to send some of that rain this way.  We haven't seen rain in over 2 months now!!

Rapala 11 , Im not a real religeous person but if the good Lord decides to take me then I guess its my time. Thats perrty much why I live for the day at hand.

I plan for future events and outings but if I dont make it then so be it. Life is short and if I can live every day to the best of my ability I will. My family comes first and all else takes a back seat to that, Yes even fishing comes second although my wife would strongly dissagree
