I will be up fishing the end of this week and would like to get some pictures and info on small streams for an article I am writing about my visit. You can send me a PM with the info if you don't want everyone to see, if you have any pics that would be great too!.

And no one is going to read the article, too, right ??? LOL

My suggestions as a past photojournalist for 20+ years is to find the creeks, fish the creeks and get to know the creeks yourself. Then write about them if you want. This way you'll have a more intimate and personal feeling towards them and you will be more selective in how you portray the area creeks.

Then if someone bashes your article, you can take all the blame.

Please post GPS coordinates so the meat hunters can have a field day.

Sorry about ranting, but IMO it is totally irresponsible for a journalist to publish info on smaller streams, especially this time of year when spawning activity has started.

Why don't you visit the Oswego River and do a fun-filled article on WWF style fishing instead?

Sorry that I offended anyone, I am taking a level 1 writing writing class at the local Community College and thought it would make and interesting story/article, I hope the be able to "write off" all my hunting and fishing trips some day, plus I thought it would be neat to see the streams for myself.

Hey that's the best way. Get a NY topo map, find and fish the creeks.

It will be most rewarding.
