Anybody want to help me find a way to get the COE to build a couple cleaning stations at the lake? I'm thinking 1 at the rec area and 1 at the Mahaney area. My thought is to help pay for these by raising the launch permit. If you are going to use the FCS ( fish cleaning stations), the launch permit would be $5. Just a recreational boater, still $3. The extra $2 would go toward helping with the cost of building them and garbage disposal. A season pass would go from $30 to $50. They could run water lines from the lake, back to the lake, and have containers for the carcasses at the sites. These FCS dont have to be real elaborate buildings either. Just a roof over our heads with electric outlets, to keep us out of the elements.
I haven't talked to them about this idea, but i have made suggestions to Chuck and Pete, the rangers there. If enough of us want to make this happen, we can get it done. I'm going to ask all the clubs in the area to help me get this moving and i'm hopeing that i can get a lot of help from the people who enjoy fishing this lake. We need to get this lake up to date with the times. All ideas and suggestions that will help with this plan will be put to good use. " What cha think"

Walnut could use some help too.
This State is so far behind on taking care of the fisherman.

This and many other lakes and access areas here in PA! I'm all for it.....what do the rangers think and what would it take to make it happen?

I would be all for it. Chauncy, you should have to pay more than the rest of us as you will use it 10X more than the rest of us

Griff, you have the right stuff to put fish in the boat now.

Once you learn to pattern these fish, you'll pay the 10X too. We've had almost 90 hits on this but only 3 replies. I need a lot more opinions before i can print this out and present it to the rangers. Otherwise they'll just say we dont have enough support to need them. That price i posted is ONLY a suggestion. I'm just trying to get this in motion.
