Guys, sounds like you ain't fishing it correctly! 20 yrs ago, For me, 50-75 fish a day was common, with 1/2 going over 3 lbs, and around 10 or so going over 4 lbs., with some 5 & 6's mixed in. No joke. Yes, it ain't what it used to be, but THEY ARE THERE! I still catch my share of 4+ lb'ers, and on some spring days every year, it proves to me that the middle/bigger class fish (3-5 lbs) are still there BIGTIME!. I always have a few days in the spring where I can boat 50+ fish, with half going 2 lb'ish, and half go 3-5 lbs., with a few around 6'ish, and a good chance at a 7+'er! The key is "struture", not "cover"! BIG difference between the two. For instance, right now it's waaaay high. Give it 4-5 days to calm down from all the rain & runoff, which it looks like it's going to get looking at the weather for the next few days, and let them start pulling some water, with staple lake/weather conditons, and WATCH OUT! It'll clear up a bit, and with that current I can pull up on some points, with that current flowing, and pick them off on almost every cast. They'll be stacked on certain points/creekbends at this time, and it can get CRAZY! Learn to fish the 6-12 ft depths for bass in this lake, around "sructure", and then find "cover" on that structure, and your catch will increase, guaranteed!
