GREETINGS,

DOES ANYONE KNOW MUCH ABOUT THE SUMMER RUN STEELHEAD ON THE SALMON RIVER? IS IT PREDICTABLE, A TIME IN PARTICULAR AND WHAT IS THEIR PRIMARY FOOD?

While hardly an expert I have caught a few over the years. They should be in the river now, recent water discharge. When first entered I have found they are willing biters on everything from egg paterns to streamers. After they have settled into thier upriver lies for a while nymphs are more consistant. No need to match anything just some buggy looking flies of various sizes and colors should do.
