LAUNCHED AT SHADES YESTERDAY, SORRY I DID. SCRAPED BOTTOM GOIN OUT BETWEEN THE BREAKWALLS - TOO LATE TO TURN BACK, ALREADY OUT. COMING BACK IN, GROUND TO A HALT SAME PLACE! THIS IS B.S. NO SIGNS SAYING LOW WATER OR NOTHING! WASNT IN A YACHT EITHER.

Don't mind everyone that is going to give you smart comments. It sucks that would happen. Signs would be helpful, maybe a complaint to the Fish and Boat commission might help.

Welcome Fratra! I have never launched out of shades! I heard some say that it was a bad design. Don't know. they probably dredged in the Spring and by now all messed up again. A sign would help.

How is the rain going to make Shades Beach deeper?   Maybe fill it in more if the creek gets too high, but never deeper.
