I booked a striper charter for the secend weekend in October.  I was told it was a good time to book.  What do you guys think.  We are fishing Sat & Sun.  I read some of the other posts about boat traffic, poop etc.  If the the stripers aren't on, any suggestions on other species I should target.  Guide says we can fish for whatever.  Any info would be great.  Thanks!

I know a guy who booked a charter and he paid  and they did poorly.
You can get some information from some of these charters but other than that i feel its a waste of money. you go read and try things out and it will all come together for you. No one needs to have to pay good money for a fish

In the dog days of summer always head toward the juniata inflow.  Before the speed boats ruin the bite, you can always hook a few rock bass and sub-12" smallmouth coming down from Hopewell.
