Status: offline 		Just picked up the series on blu ray, anyone else watching this. quite amazing. The kids are enjoying as well. have only watched the first 2 episodes so far. definitely a worthwhile and recommended purchase.

Status: online 		I watched how they shot the Planet Earth series... and it was unreal the amount of work put into that. Especially to get some of those exotic birds mating dances, just sitting around for days on end to get one shot that lasted seconds. Then taking the hot air balloons through trees and crashing into stuff and all the equipment they broke. But the shots they got were amazing.

Status: offline 		Yeah, I watched the series when it was on TV, DVR'd every episode and watched it again and again.  The Great White footage was insane.  I don't have a Blu-ray player (yet), so I'm waiting on the DVDs.  I have an upconvert DVD player that is supposed to convert the videos to 1080p, but it's not the same!

Status: offline 		Definitly a fantastic series.  Watched it on tv, and was a few $$ shy of grabbing the dvd series at borders last sunday.  Will be purchased in the near future.  Loved the one on the jungle w/ all of the different birds as well.
