Bull Creek has a nice DHALO area that is just a few miles south of the Butler Co. line in Allegheny. Lots of open areas on Thorn Creek, which gets stocked from near Saxonburg all the way out into Penn Township. It almost all runs through privately owned land, but MOST is open to fishing. There are some posted areas, so tread carefully. In some years, I have caught trout here as late as January. Not big numbers, but a few in places where they can hold over through the summer when conditions are right. Have never fished it, but as FisherChic said, Buffalo Creek DHALO sounds pretty nice from guys I have talked to. Also, Slippery Rock Creek (again, which I have never fished) seems to fish pretty well for a good portion of the year from what I hear.
