I’m looking to take my younger brother (12yo) out fishing tomorrow at pigeon creek (sat the 23). It's been a few years since i've been down there and haven’t had the time to go down and look to see what is/isn't posted, or who owns what. My father used to take me down there and used to know where we could / couldn't fish but i'm sure things have changed since then.

Looking for a stretch that would take the two of us an hour or two to walk.

I'm not looking for anyone's fishing hole, just what lengths of the creek are open for fishing. Only place i’ve been to in many years is the larger hole (the wall) under 43, but it usually has someone there. And they are usually the loud, annoying, unpleasant type =P

Another random question; my father always used to bring live crawfish to use as bait. Can you buy these somewhere locally or did he go catch them? I've tried plactics, but they don't work like the real thing...

well me and my budy walked pigeon today and got 4 bass and some bluegill start where 43 is and walk down. nothing is posted down near mon city. the only thing you need to watch out for is snakes and some parts are real nasty with mud. we talked to another guy who was down there ge got 10 bass biggest he said was 17 inches. the crawfish proplem cant help you with but we used worms and did fine. and if you want some real fun try to get a nice carp they are all over. well hope you get something and be safe.
