Status: offline 		Had these on another thread but thought that I'd share... She's only 4, but she can lay out some line already. She can cast as well as any under 7-year-old kid I've ever seen. Can't wait to get my son out too- please feel free to post your kids pics on this thread as well!

Great pics! Those your rugrats I presume? Very cool- if you ever have the little ones out this way (Pgh) feel free to drop me a line and we'll get the kids out on the water together. I have a few nice private ponds and some easy wading streams that are perfect for the kids.

Nice pics guys- keep 'em coming! Heading to Silverkype's rehearsal dinner- later!

Status: offline 		Dan those pix of Ruby are wonderful!  I just have one hint:  Hair band.  She seems to always be peeking out from behind her hair.  Dis she really catch the bass on a fly?   Cool.  Can't wait till my granddaughter gets old/big enough to fly fish.

Fisherboy:  I just love the look on the little girls' face in the first picture.  If  looks could make the fly go where she wanted it to.

Thank you for the invite. They are not my kids, but my sisters kids (who are pictured), and my younger brother.  They do not fly fish, but I have achieved the goal of getting a fly rod in their hands, even if it is just waving the line around in pretty circles. I may take you up on that offer someday (hopefully a long someday at my age!).  But I will be getting to your neck of the woods shortly, and I know some people who know you, and they don't say many good things.   We'll need to hook up someday and share some water.


Guys, as you can see, I can't express the fun that kids have while they are young and can fish. Look at the smiles. There is nothing fake in those smiles, just pure fun and happiness. I have been fortunate enough to help with many classes for kids, and they are the most fun and easiest to teach. They soak up knowledge like a sponge.  Plant the seed, show them some fun, and wait. Someday they will come around! 


LET'S SEE SOME MORE!!
