Peter's Creek (Washington County): Kevin Robison of McKeesport released a 10-pound 1-ounce largemouth bass on a buzz bait, April 18.

Dont think the Peters Creek your talking about is this one. That is in Allegheny County.

Must be a different Peters Creek in Washington.

I'm convinced that Deborah Weissberg will print anything anyone sends her. I don't believe this catch is true.

deborah weisberg has, and will print anything she's told. she calls around to bait shops and gets her info, along with people calling in/emailing her. not saying its a bad way to get info, just that she will print ANYTHING.

True that. OR.....will print said info WITHOUT giving that person any credit for the info. Learned that 1st. hand over 10 years ago and never went there again. Although she did look good in waders back then ;)

Some buddies and I have a running joke where we try to come up with an outlandish story to send her. We never sent any though. But it would be hillarious to see: "Joe Johnson of Peters Twp. caught a 46" gar at Canonsburg lake on a piece of corn below a 4 inch bobber" printed in the PG.

I'm sure people send fake reports to her. I've just not done it yet.

jesus i just caught an 8.5 out of a trophy bass lake and some guy catches a 10 out of peters creek? id like to see pics. i used to give her reports but i sent pics, a few of which went in the paper. she should bring back the catch of the week feature and not print it w/o pics.

3 foot lemon shark caught in Chartiers Creek on a dead piece of possum with an 8/0 hook on a harness, trolling.

lets see if this works......here is my recent 8.5. id love to see this 10 that was reported. my second 8 in 2 years. 2 5's on top of this one this spring so far.

As soon as i saw this, i was like "WHAT" myself, kinda figured, misprint, or as stated previously, thought "maybe" someone pulled 1 lunker of a bass outta the ponds, it's gotta be either or.

there was a real big one swiming around the ponds the last 2 years. I do not think it was 10 pounds but it was big.
