On July 17 People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals sent Gil the Fish
to lead a protest against fishing in Watertown, New York. In a press release
PETA gushed on about the horrors of fishing. “Fish feel pain — they
have neurochemical systems like humans and sensitive nerve endings in
their lips and mouths. They begin to die slowly of suffocation the moment
they are pulled out of the water.”

Hello All
Just a gut check the next time you or other anglers  are quick to criticize your fellow anglers. Remember untied we stand  divided we fall  we are our own worst enemies  we are too busy bit***** about banning this and stopping that but as we pick each other apart the real dangers to fishing will over come us.   They will do just about anything to keep you from fishing including buying up property  !!!!!  The only thing you will have left is a fishing video game...

Here's how stupid this org.(PETA) is. They sent letters to Ben and Jerry's ice cream and told them they need to quit selling ice cream made from cows milk as it is so harmful to the cows. They want to substitute Human breast milk for the ice cream..Gives a whole new meaning to double scoop....What a bunch of morons....

I know an old college girlfriend who could probably supply enough lactose for an entire production run of "Chunky Monkey" and "New York Super Fudge Chunk"...  Had I known, I would have held onto her longer, as she could have been my Cash Cow...

As for PETA- it isn't worth the effort to type about them...

As a professional ecologist- such organizations have often made my job a nightmare...  Lots of passion, but virtually zero real 'knowledge'...  That is a scary combination...  Plus, most protesters seems to have a lot of time on their hands, which only adds to the annoyance...

I could imply an infinate amount of political satire here- but will refrain out of respect to those who still plan to vote in a presidentail election based on the appearance of a female VP candidate...  Whoa...

It's a shame that these people have to be so stoopid... I think animals should be treated with respect, but these people are soooo out of control that they ruin any credibility their organization might have....

I believe that they are truly the most ill informed group about their specific cause that exists.

Whilst in college and studying in a natural resources program....there were many tree huggers  ( which I was one, but not a psycho no-clue type of person )  in any event, there was one real old guy who thought peta was great and said he was on the rainbow warrior ship back in the day that caused plenty of problems.....he got all high and mighty and was screaming about a walmart being built near a creek.......I about whupped up on some oldman.......he was so wrong, yet he was so straight forward in his thought.......no logic, no theory.......

what a bunch of crazy arse people...........there were plenty of them in the program I was attending at college.....all I know is that I was very glad and fortunate to understand that these are the people I will competing against to get a job.............

I feel w/ talking about them on any site your doing nothing but giving them free air time. This is what they want. If you stop the talk they will fall to the side and not have a platform to speak.

Let's not forget the "Death Vans" they use to "rescue" poor, defenseless animals. Those rescued animals don't make it out of the neighborhood before they're put down. The statistic I read put it at a 97% kill rate.
