I've never seen an apple tree quite like the one in those shots. I've also never seen an apple tree drop corn before.

I hunted Ohio (near Cambridge) for the last 5 days, it was a great time.  Didn't get anything but have friday, monday and tuesday wrapped around next weekend off, so hopefully i will get in on some great activity.  I had one Ohio shooter(bigger then my idea of a PA or WV shooter)  close to me but through grapevines.  Many of them(the big boys) are still very nocturnal.  A lot of standing corn(these people dont do silage like i am used to) has them living in it all day, with not a single reason to step out.  Some GIANT rubs though, and the scrape activity is picking up big time. Small bucks are chasing and wasting their energy, they will learn.  Saw 4 differant 8-pts, a 6 on 4 consecutive days(always chasing does) in stands 1/2 mile apart nonetheless, and several 4 points.
