Status: offline 		To all those going to the One Fly event:

I am in discussion with a custom patch store who is willing to make a custom patch for the event.  I am curious how many individuals are interested in getting such a patch.  The cost will be between $3-$5 currently, shipping included.  I will get them and bring them up to the event if there is enough interest.  There is a 50 piece minimum so hopefully a lot of people are interested.  I do need to know in a rather short period of time if you think this is worthwhile.  The turn around time is about 2 weeks, unless we want to pay up for a rush order (which I'd like to try to avoid).  Let me know your thoughts and opinions.  I already have a patch in the works based on what indsguiz and I have in mind.  I'll post the image when it is turned into the patch, but it is a fairly simple patch and a badge of honor.  Imagine coming back in ten years with ten of them on your vest. 

Edit:  The more people interested, the cheaper it will be.

Status: offline 		The design is as such:  The "One Fly" across the top, a wooly bugger (since just about everyone uses them) in the middle, and 2008 on the bottom.  It's fairly simple, but it looks pretty good.  Once I get the order set the company will digitize the image and let me know what it looks like as a patch.  At that point I'll post up a picture of the image so everyone can see.

  In case anyone is wondering;  this was run past me and is something Bughawk and I have discussed before; but time and other duties kept it from becomming reality.  Schlem has volunteered to take the reins on this; just like Tim has done for the Night Before.  I think that it is a good idea and as I asked at the first post: "Anybody have any ideas to improve this thing"  Well here are two so let's support them both if we can and we'll see if it becomes a permanent thing.   Remember this is everybodys' event!  I just try to guide the herd.

most patches can be ironed on, you don't need to know how to sew.
I have a friend who has a button maker, but I know I wouldn't have the time to put together a design, AND make buttons before this One Fly

I collect patches of all sorts (mostly law enforcement related) and was wondering If I could be put down for one even if i am not participating (helping set-up for Banquet).  I think what Indy is doing with this event is great and would like to add the patch to my collection.
