In all of my years in Erie I've never located a bottle shop in the Erie area to buy a few micros/imports. Anybody know of one?

I think there is one on Pittsburgh ave between 12th and 8th streets.  It is across from the strip mall.

Yup, good selection, right across from the Wendy's that sits in the mall with the movie theatre.

The Shaggy Dogg used to have a good selection.  I haven't slummed around in the dogg for years!!

I think the name is Three Dogs Deadbolt. Great selection for sure. Its nice to grab singles so you dont get stuck with a whole case of something not satisfying when your paying a bit more.

Got a few there last weekend.  They're a little pricey, but not ridiculous.  I'd go there again.

I have never been there.  I saw it one day when I was passing by.  Maybe I will have to check it out.

If you like good beer on tap, just up the road from there is Oscar's Pub on 12th street.  They have a great selection of beers.  I will warn you they are not cheap.  The food is pretty good.  If you go ask for the chef to see what new he has been working on.  Several times I have have eaten there he was coming up with some new dishes and let me try them.  They are always pretty good.

This time of year many breweries produce variety packs (cases 24). In Pa this is the most economical way to try new brews. Usually 4-12 different beers in each case. Many local distributors sell sampler/variety/mixed cases of these brewery's beers: Penn Pilsener, Yuengling, Sam Adams, Dundee, Church Works, Saranac, Stoudts, Blue Moon, Labatts, Magic Hat, Great Lakes, Michelob, and a few more. Take a chance and try a few!
