Maybe not so new but I just saw these at an outdoor show in Massachusetts over the winter. Tired of dragging fish around, some of which get away or Dipsies that trip before a fish hits. Friday we were tightening them down by the minute as the waves got bigger. This thing is the ticket. It is just like a Dipsy BUT...... believe it or not it never trips by accident AND it trips every time when even the smallest perch hits. Seems too good to be true but I checked it out at their exhibitor booth and it really works as it was designed to. I didn't have the cash at the time but I'm going to order some now. Just like Luhr Jensen they provide a depth chart and it seems to run similar to Dipsies. If anyone else checks them out let us know what you think. The Lite Bite is their new release system that you can check out on the video. The only difference I see is that instead of clipping to your mainline it is a through line system. One advantage is you can let out the lure or harness as far as you want behind the disc. I'm not really interested in that as like most of us I use a braided line and a mono or flourocarbon leader. The system will still work for that set up though. Anybody want to buy some Dipsies??

Just run your blades you bought and the walleyes will eat them....

The slide divers have been out for awhile, but the new light bite ones are new. Guy's in Ohio love em, but if you watch your poles close enough you can usually tell if a small fish hits it. I did invest in a couple magnetic divers that seem to work pretty good

You got it sstaz...especially runnin' the 30lb power pro or any new super braids.  You can see every little bump.  BUT...what about those ones that hit, jiggle your rod just a bit and start swimming right along with the boat and you never even know they are there until you reel in?  That happens quite often.  These divers just may just be the ticket for that.  They do look rather complicated though....I'd like to see one in person first myself.  Wanna be the guinee pig Indian Summer?

The price is a bit much but I like them. Will never drag a small silver bass or white perch again.

The braids really do show the light bites. If I see the light nibble on the pole I usually will pull it up after a couple of minutes just to check the bait. But then again if you dont see it or are running sticks or spoons then thats a different story. I'm with you, need a guinee pig before I buy some, or maybe I'll just buy one, try it out and be the tester for everyone

Has anybody try the walker dipsy divers?  I got two to try but have not used them yet.  They seem to trip easier then luhr jensen dipsy diver.  I am going to try them these weekend.

I'll buy your dipsys . Precision trolling does not have depth charts on any other so I will stick with the accurate charts I have for the existing divers.PM me if your serious ; I need #0's & # 1's . I do not trust the manufacturers charts that claim a #1dipsy only runs 50ft LOL I can hit 90ft with 20lb braid.

"I usually will pull it up after a couple of minutes just to check the bait."

Down time. Wouldn't you like to eliminate that? Especially when your Dipsy is 180 feet back.... what a pain and waste of time. Not good especially if you're on top of the eyes when you're checking baits. I agree too that if you stare at the rod tip you'll see the bites. If you're out with the wife though, or happen to be landing another fish, getting a drink etc. etc. it's easy to miss the initial strike......especially when the waves are big. Dragging fish is common then. It will really benefit the rookies on board who are distracted by all that's going on and don't keep an eye on the rod tip. It's not easy for the man at the wheel to watch 6 rod tips, especially in a big Erie chop. Go to the OGF board..... there are plenty of guinea pigs on there. Someone here told me to ask those guys so I did. They are taking Dipsies out of their boats and putting them in the garage! Too bad about the insane price though. I plan to fish my Dipsies this year. I'll see the manufacturer at an outdoor show next February. They give show prices plus I get an exhibitor discount. I'll be running 4 of them next year for starters.

Think about it..... never trips from rod pressure because the release is tripped from the other end, AND never drag a fish again.... not even a small perch. If I can finish up earlier I'm saving gas. Maybe I'll limit out too on days where I'm one or two short from fish getting away after being trolled around for 10 or more minutes or from circling around to the pack only to drag a white bass through them instead of a nightcrawler. Man I hate that.

Like I said... check out the OGF board for tons of feedback.

You are right Indian Summer, but like I said I will probably only buy one at first to see how it works for me. I do know the guy's on OGF have been praising them and for awhile now at that. I just want some first hand knowledge, have been reading that they can be a pain to set up but need to see for myself

I'll tell you one thing.... if I were to just look at the website and video I'd be pretty skeptical. The video makes them look like a real time consuming pain in the butt. I probably would not buy one to tell the truth. I'd be the guy that said if it ain't broke don't fix it. Heck we hammer them on Dipsies. But I had the chance to pick that one up at the show and rig it and trip it a couple times. Sold! Wish I'd have had the cash then. I think that if you get one and play with it at the house you'll feel the same. Either way the final test is to see if it passes the test of time with guys fishing here on Erie which it seems to have done across Ohio. Between those and auto pilot I think fishing will be even more fun and productive. I know it will be better than holding the wheel and dragging fish or wormless harnesses.
