We stopped at the Shooter's Palace on Saturday morning after I caught my Pike so the g/f could get some bait. The fellow inside was telling us a fisherman got robbed at gun point down at the New Brighton Dam while night fishing.

Think it might be time to take the pistol out fishing.

I'm not surprised, just one of the reasons I rarely fish there.  Plenty of addicts and flat out stupid people around down there.

Stillhead, I agree we have some pretty .. dangerous to say the least lakes around here I try to avoid. But held by gun point?! I read something on here about a guys car getting keyed by an older angler. What has fishing come to?!

That place is the cats ass early in the morning before the herds arrive. Same as most places once the masses show up I'm gone or walking to parts less traveled. Fishing relaxes me and I can't relax with someone 20'  away from me.
