New Ugly Stik GX2 coming out

Has anyone seen the new Ugly Stik GX2 coming out? What are your thoughts? I am not really one to spend $300+ on a G-Loomis rod since I don't get as much time as I would like to fish. I am always scouring pawn shops and flea markets for good deals. Last year, I found two almost new Quantum reels that when new were $90-$100 apiece. I got them both for $25 each. I also use a Berkley Lightning Rod UL for trout. For a cheaper rod, I like them. Just wondering what anyone thinks of the new Ugly Stiks coming out.

    I seen one sight that said there will be a 9'. Not sure how long you are looking for. Maybe I am wrong though.

    9' is alright. I'd be happier with a 14' with 2 quiver tips, but I guess I'll have to order from the UK.

    That's a cool site lots of good tackle reviews, mostly bass stuff though.

    They really focus on bass because it's the #1 chased game fish in the states pretty much, and being based in California the only thing they really have is the delta and big bass lakes.  I mean unless they head up north and go for salmon and steelies in the mountains.  But, just because it looks like bass lures doesn't mean it won't hammer eyes or skis/pike...  I use it mainly for research into new baits and new gear seeing as I can't have much input aside from Erie smallies being some of the best in the country...

    I use 6'6" M for carp fishing the pay lakes and have been for 30yrs....
    Very dependable I can't wait to see the new one's!!!!!!
