Status: offline 		I just thaought I would let you all know that I finally caught my first steelhead lastnight! I was fishing the wall at Walnut and was there for a good 5 hours. I was having terrible luck...from snagging and losing a lure, a boat going by and caught my line as I was reeling it in which cost another lure, and then reeling in all of Lake Eries seaweed along with a plastic white bag. LOL Finally, I was throwing a glow in the dark 1/4oz Little Cleo in blue and caught a 25" female steelhead. I was so excited! The only problem I had was trying to reel it in and net it at the sametime. All in all, that was a great experience. Thank you all who have helped me with my questions on this forum. Status: offline 		Oh yea, I have a picture on my cell phone but have to get a USB cable to transfer it onto the computer. Will post ASAP! Even though some may not really want to see my 25" First Steelhead. LOL

About the photo...I'm not sure how your plan works, but I know I have unlimited text and pix with verizon including 500/month to non-verizon.  I have no USB, but you CAN send pix from phone to email.  Just in the area where you'd type in the contact name or cell number of your destination, you text in your email address.  HTH!

Status: offline 		Congrats Man! Your done now! Steelhead fishing is down right addicting, next thing you know you will be buying a $200 rod and $150 reel. Then you will need a fly rod which will cost you more, but then it's not done you have to buy stuff to tie flies, leader, fly line, new LL Bean waders, a chest pack, and more.

Got to love a fish that can do that to ordinary men.

Status: offline 		Yea, I am so sorry for getting caught up in that boat. I heard they are expensive. I was fishing the mouth and the lady driving cut a hard right and then a quick left when exiting the marina. I am pretty sure she is a new boat driver. Had many people upset how she cut right in front of us like that because she never sounded her horn. That is why I lost my lure and she hopefully didn't have to replace anything.

Wanted to post a pic but when I try to upload it, it say file to large? Any suggestions. Never posted a picture on here. Thank you.

Status: offline 		Here is the picture of my SECOND ever steelhead. My first steelhead is still only on my cell phone. I had a blast landing this one but it is smaller then my first ever caught steelhead. This one only measured in at 22.5" and weighed 4.5lbs. Fun catching anyways and my Mom fillets them up.
