Ok so 2 of my buddies and myself are going to be heading out to moraine tomoro to do some catfishing. Im new to it and had a couple questions #1 what are some good baits to use out there, i was thinking about stopping and getting some chicken livers and ill probably bring some chopped up bluegill. Are there any other good baits to try out? Also, where are some good spots for cats? im not asking anyone to give up there honeyhole but wondering where would be some good places to try. And my last question is what is the best time to fish for them. we will probably be out there from like 4 to 10:30? thank you in advance for any help

I did not believe it either but saw my buddy George catch catfish, carp and suckers in the Mon at the bottom of Becks Run.
Alpo cans also work.

Yes sir. McDonalds fries are such a good bait. Some old guy told me to use it and i thought he was crazy. I decided to throw on some fries and I caught A LOT of carp and a few catfish with it. Berkley also has catfish bait. It smells nasty and works really well. Good luck.

chicken livers work great, you may need a treble hook. some people use nylon netting. I swear by it.  stripers love em also

well fished from 430 till 10 pm tonight by the dam used chicken livers and night crawlers managed to catch about 8 channels but nothing big all around 12 inches missed a couple to probably could have done a little bit better if we would have stayed a little bit later but dumb cinderella license makes it kinda hard to do that. If anyone has any tips for getting into some bigger cats i would really appreciate it. O also my one buddy had on a Bluegill head pretty large one to and something picked it up and ran with it but numbnut didnt set the hook and realed it right outta the fishes mouth im guessing that it was a larger cat but who knows.
