Is "creek burning" a thing? Because I feel like it should be for these small, one-hole type tribs. There goes my peaceful C&R spot. But oh well, it's Erie I guess lol.

I thought you said on another thread you weren't a fly fisherman? Not accusing you, just curious...

Every post of specific streams (especially little ones) brings more traffic to that place. Stop it.

Because catching a bigger stupid stocked fish feel more manly, lol.

Who knows... Reports should give time, water condition and what was used... no need to glamour shots, locations. Let the browsers learn and walk the creeks like we did to find spots.

These are the "greedy dickheads" that put time, Energy, dedication and money to find fish on their own because they enjoy the sport of fishing too much that its insulting to be spoonfed free information that takes away from the sport... not when are the conditions just right for fair weather fisherman to lace up their boots and get off their lazy asses and hit the stream or i mean wall/ easy access areas so not quite sure what category your in but yea i dont own the streams of pa you are correct but when a bunch of grown****"men" act like idiots ( ruining children's experiences, crowding someone whos actually catching fish continuously, ****ing on the creek bank, being loud and vulgar etc) it is nice early season to fish in solitude for a few weeks because we put the time in to find the fish before ppl start posting stuff on the internet to trigger the flood gates to open.. no im not a local and no im not being greedy i have shared info privately with people

Pooflinger hunting don't matter either, I ain't killed a deer in I don't know how long.  I'm such a loser,  but I sure have fun, none the less.

With all do respect I can feel the pain of the dedicated angler who fishes for the enjoyment of the sport, respects the land and rights of others, enjoys nature at it's best, dreams of that special meal made with their catch, or of the fish they will release.  Then there are those that are just about themselves, could care less about enjoying the sport or if the sport withers up and, blows away.  There will something else, like deer hunting, they can destroy along their way.

Tried that Erie Trib fishing thingy way back when snagging was permitted, never wet a line, never been back.

More power to yinz fellows and tight lines.

    LOL

I think most of us (registered users) on this site are the ones that actually care about the sport and don't rope every fish we catch. Also don't trash what open water we have available to fish.

I live 2 hours south of Erie, so I'm no local.

The irony of suggesting such to one with a screen name of "slacker" tickles me a bit......

Pa creeks are shallow and clear 90% of the time
'ell, most of em are  gin clear 3 days after a blowout

It ain't like it's hard to spot  fish in tiny shallow creeks

On another note, I am coming up on November 18th.  Will there be a lot of fish at McKean on Elk?  What will the color and flow be?  What will they be hitting on?  I'll be coming up from Pittsburgh and I don't want to have to hunt for fish.

Sorry, Nov 18th is too late. The fish will all be smoked or on the side of the creeks with their eggs cut out.
