Erie This weekend

Taking my grandsons up to erie this weekend, I haven't been up for 2 years. I normally go out of PI to the cribs   Anybody been out there, what depth are the bass at and what are they hitin. Thanks

    If you're going to fish the waters around the cribs why don't you put in at East Ave or Shades?  Have no idea how the bass fishing has been, but the perch and walleye and have been hit or miss according to the reports page and my own outings.  These weather patterns have everything mucked up.  Checked the reports archives from last summer and everyone was doing much better.

    My grandsons and I got  37 bass and 30 sheep head in 3 days  we went off the water sat early because of a bass tourn  every time we got a bass on they would get in on us.

    Me and the Mrs didn't get on the water til 4:30 on Saturday afternoon and only fished til 8.  We managed to find 10 smallies and about a half ton of sheephead.  28' was the magic depth.
