Me and B.A. Went out Monday morning . I ended up with 28 he had 13 . But we fished for 5.5 hours or better . We drifted and anchored and never figured them out really . Just every two hours or so you'd get a flurry of light bites that if you didn't pay attention to .... You'd miss . It's weird how them tasty perch are though . At I believe 9am it was I had a hot 15 minutes that resulted in over half my keepers . We were anchored in 48' and suddenly the graph showed red from bottom to about down 20 foot . Fun when you can't keep two rods down . I got a question for you folks where would I begin if I wanted to jig for them instead of heavy weight drop shottin? Anybody have any help there? I was also quite happy with my homemade perch rig . Barrel swivel on 6 mainline to 17 lb fluorocarbon leader . And it seemed to help to use a lighter weight with live bait and heavier when chumming them with cut and dead shiners . Keep the reports coming !! Nice to see some good threads this week
