Walleye from shore

Has anyone been picking any eyes up at night at the creek mouths?  Just curious because I'm planning a trip up for smallies/perch in the day time and possibly eyes at night for next weekend...  If not then more than likely it will be Memorial day weekend (i'm sure the eyes will be gone by then.)  I just want to get some of that Erie walleye fever out of my system.

I was getting a little action last weekend on a Rapala Rainbow Trout. Saw a few boats close to shore pick up a few.

Ahh alright, i'll be up next weekend and i'm hoping that they may be alittle closer and not on the way out further.  It's been a weird year for eyes for me personally I don't know about anyone else.  But, it's the most action you'll get at night in Erie because catching rockbass and stuff in the bayfront area just gets boring.  Unless the pier has a good night action...
