North and South Pier

Is the channel open at the north and south pier ? Thanks in advance for any info.

    as far as I know there is open water there. I have not been there to be certain on this info  sometimes this time of year the ice moves to north side of channel with a south wind and it will move over to the south side with a north wind. maybe call presqueisle angler for an accurate report on the channel
