3 days of finding the chrome...

out the door before the sun

grab your stick

a few flies

Load up the boats

Head straight out of walnut

rig up and watch

look for this

get there faster than anyone else

match the hatch

make this happen

watch out for new arrivals

keep your distance

get more

head in

eat

I fished my Beulah bluewater 10/11 with a levee 20lb flour leader... there were a few 15lb+ fish landed (just not by me)
but those small/med fish are no joke and will try to take your rod and reel with them... trying to lift them out of 30-50ft of water is a task, only to have them go on another 150ft run
i had an 8wt with we incase we had a day with winds 5mph or less and wanted to throw topwater (didn't happen)

I saw some gear literally blow up
    - 3 broken rods (not mine... this time)
    - 1 reel explode into multiple pieces during a run (guy i was fishing)
    - 2 of my fly lines are going back to Rio tomorrow
    - a few other people lines got a little shorter from props

Did you guys carry around the steel drums and the board with holes in it, just to shuck oysters?  That is some dedication to oyster shucking if so.

it was in the high 30s in the mornings and wind was gusting to 25mph which meant we got wet and cold
