Mentor youth question

I was wondering if it is legal for a Mentored youth to shoot a doe, using an adult tag of course, during the early Youth/Senior rifle doe season Oct 24-26?  Can't find it in the book.

from the way I think I read it, I believe they can. Might want to contact the PGC and find out for certain.

Yes it is.  The regs were changed last year to included mentored hunters in the early doe season.

This is on the Mentored Youth page in the digest, about 2/4 of the way down under Seasons and Bag limits:

A Mentored Youth is eligible to hunt during any special youth hunting seasons that apply to eligible Mentored Youth hunt species.

Thank you for the reply.  Hopefully my son sees a big doe within range this weekend to go with the nice buck he shot first day two years ago.
