Surf casting

Spent the last 2 mornings trying to fish Trout Run creek mouth...
Yesterday was unfishable, today was better only 2-3 footers for the most part...About every 6-8 set of waves would have a couple jumbos..
Almost pick you up off your feet and spray would come off you higher than your head..
Only 1 hoohup, fish didn't like that rough either....

    i wonder if a ocean surf rig would work? pyramid sinker and all
