I've caught fish on Single eggs, waxies, nightcrawlers, egg sacks, minnows, skein or "skank", maggots & mealworms. I would love to try Butter worms, but can not find them in the Fall.

I see guys are mentioning lures and flies, but I've never comsidered them as "Bait".

I mostly use flies now, but always carry some baits with me as well.

How come no one mentioned skank? Its messy but deadly at times.... I like jigs personally but minnows and sacs are a close 2nd and third....

Man...."skank" brought back some old board memories!! I wish I could find that video that I posted a few years back on those hill billy dudes cutting up that steelhead on their deer hook and ripping out the "skank" LOL

If ANYONE saved that youtube video and still has it, PLEASE post that....PLEASE!!

depends on the lake i like to use spoons, bright colors, and if that dont work i switch to some deep diving lures, on land i like to use minnows, powerbait,white plastic works, or eggs
