Thought you could only catch smallies in deep water with live bait

this changes. Everything.

Bigfoot, one of my wife's fishing areas. Said to tell that fisherman he is fishin from the wrong side of the creek ...WF

HA ha, OK, I will tell him, but you know how it is with some people, you can tell them, but that doesn't necessarially mean that they will listen.

Came back to this thread to enjoy again some of what is really important... and to post a few pics from a couple of evening trips out on the lake we took in the past month. Yes, a few fish were caught, but more importantly, we enjoyed our day/evening... I have come to really love the Lake Erie sunsets, but photos can't do them justice (at least I know mine sure can't! LOL)

the blur you see over the bow lights are the lights of Conneaut Harbor on one of our return trips.

My phone camera doesnt do the colors of this guy justice but here it is anyways. Colors on this fish made it wall mountable but I let him swim away.

I like the rods in the sunset photo. The last time I took my uncles out this season, I moved all the rods over to that side of the boat to take a shot. I'll have to see if I can find it. Nice shots. All of them!

Pulled the boat Friday and winterized it yesterday.

I love cats. I just can't eat a whole one..
