Elk

Went to elk on saturday with my dad. And caught nothing at all!!! I just dont know what were doing wrong... The guys to the left and right of us were catching then like crazy!!! Someday I hope I can catch a steelhead...........

    why not ASK somebody what theyre doing different. imo if you cant observe what theyre doing differently it is PROBABLY(dont know for sure) theyre tackle. line, leader, bait size, etc... dont be afraid to ASK somebody. by the time you ask here, youre day of fishing is already over.

    No weight, move your bait, regardless of what your using. Last time I fished there I had a strike on almost every type of bait and fly I put on.

    wait til decemeber on right now this kinda fishing can frustrate and make it unenjoyable and turn you off. Trust me and most will agree the fishing gets better the worse the weather gets.
