Can you mark myself and Erie Mako down as tentative to attend. I don't know if both or either of us will be fishing but would like to be there to help out.
I hesitated earlier to sign up because I don't have confirmation on my schedule request for vacation that weekend but with as quick as the list fills I guess I need to jump while I can!

Working on the Name Tags today and some Thank-You signs. Got a great gift from Scientific Anglers (3m company) A certificate for 1 roll of Any type of Fly Line in any Weight that they make. This could be worth about 79-89 dollars. More if you're a surf fisherman. Will be on the drawing table.

Another update! My Durling Dotter did the name tags yesterday and we have 126 signed up! So I figure about 102 will make it. Please bring a lawn chair! Also, We are going to be having a young lady celebrating her 21st birthday at the event, so come prepared to eat cake and sing Happy Birthday. Embarassment is a bonus! (Nothing lewd!) Gifts are optional!

Well, 30 days to go till the party. I do have to ask that if anyone, who is signed up for the event, is unable to attend, please let me know as soon as possible. 18 days Gentlemen, and so far nobody has dropped out. Slick has some great prizes, and is doing a wonderful job of getting them sorted out. Skip thinks he has enough food lined up, the "Night Before' is a "GO" and the Poker bash is proceeding nicely. I'm really looking foreward to seeing some old friends again, and meeting some new ones. I'll be packing my SUV about three times between now and departure. We need a little more rain. Take care folks See you there.

Gentlemen, Well, with 12 days to go this could be another dry one for the "One Fly". If this keeps up I am predicting 1 maybe 2 fish will win. And man when 128 fishermen/women hit the tribs on Sat the Wall is going to be crowd -ed. But the event will go on. Be prepared for a great picnic! Still no dropouts that I know of. We need RAIN and a lot of it. Hopefully spread out over about 4-6 days. Then clearing on Thursday, clear Friday and absolutely great on the 9th. Now is that too much to ask.
I've said it before and i'll say it again. Think outside the traditional "box" for the event. Hope we all have a great time. Looking forwad to seeing you all.

The birthday girl's name is Erin (for the singing purposes). she is going crazy, asking me daily what is going on. the 8th/9th can't come fast enough now, I don't know how much longer I can keep it a secret....

i guess i am with steely....really don't care about catching, really come up to "be talking". plenty of time to fish afterwards. this is one of the few man-events i attend these days and i always leave "happier than an opossum crawling out of a dead horse's arse ".
