These nets are real nice for the price, just make sure the bag is deep enough..... I'm sure my followers will bang me for sharing some of my "extensive" knowledge, but I have one of their nets and they are great.

I own two Brodin nets; the pro series steelhead model and the trout model.
    Here is a link:

Thanks guys i`ll check them out,Some times i think it`s less stressful , and quicker to net a fish rather than let one flop around all over on the banks . To be released to fight another day.

I also own the brodin nets, the major difference w/ their nets and the commercial made nets is the mesh size. Your find the brodin's to have a small mesh size and are harder to do a fast net job. These will be harder to pull through the water. I have the steelhead model and the canoe model w/ the longer handle. Both worth the money.

Second recommendation about Sevens nets. The new light wt rubber bag is the way to go.

Even though you have the 2nd recommendation for Stevens, CC, you should have been the first b/c you found them, field tested them, and helped them improve them to what they are today.  - I am not surprised that Tippy beat you to the punch again - you can't blame him, he is just trying to re-gain his credibility...

If you order one, get the CC package with the extra deep rubber bag...

why use a net??? don't you have two feet???
you only need 1 to step on the fish... and you can use the same one to kick it back...

pvc/rubber bags are the only way to go...
nylon does a hard mess to gills and slime...
