Fished pymy today 10 keeper crappies. The last hour I was there got nothing but perch.  No keepers though.  Minnies and spoons.  A smooth walk and a very easy drag.

6 inches at least out side of edinboro now drifts are terrible

i for one would like to thank you nw/jigmaster your report made it possible for me to take my 6 year olg grandson out and get him his first fish through the ice i think we wear just below your group the group below us had two flages flying wish i new is was you i would of came up and thanked you in person i am going to get to take him again thise sat and hope i can get him a few more fish he is hooked know

fished jamestown today in 28 FOW. 6 crappies, 1 perch, and something big that broke me off.  pretty slow day.  i'm new to ice fishing pymatuning - anybody have any thoughts on how long the ice might be fishable?  hoping to get a few more weekends out on the lake.  denny crane

Fished the south-end this am. kept 10 fish 1-14 ,1-13 ,8-10 in. and above and numerous throwbacks.. no eyes though gunna try again tomorrow.. NW/

went out for the evening bite .. @ the south-end was in 19 fow.. had minnows down and was jigging a VIBE'E ( SONAR ) glow in the dark..was working it about 2-3 ft. off bottom , when that all to familiar red flash on the sonar screen .. and TWINK!! THERE WENT THE LINE , pulled up nothing but bare line.. DARN TOOHTY CRITTERS.. now i gotta buy another new glow lure..

Fished the south end Saturday.  Unlike previous days it was a slow morning but a really good afternoon for crappies.  Constant action from 12:00 noon til sunset.  Approx 25 FOW.  Wish I had taken sunscreen - gonna pay for that the next few days.  Denny Crane

I fished Tuttle beach straight out in about 14 ft of water. We caught a total of 3 crappie and my tip ups never went up all day. I just scratched that area  off my list.

I don't know about Maning, but across the lake by the sailing club there is 10"(2" of honeycomb and 8" clear).

If I wasn't driving to Cleavland tomorrow I'd be down at Jamestown as well. Nothing going on in the shallows... Yet.
