The channel is starting to produce good catches of perch, there have ben a couple steel head hooked up of the south pier this week. south pier, most productive is the far east end fish the 30 ft. hole, cast straight for the light house on the north pier and you will be in the zone.the jumbo crappie are there but the hit is early and late evening, fish them light with a mister twister off the bottom and you will catch.(4 to 6lb test line)  north pier most productive is where the wall breaks away to wards the light house fish just in front of the break where the water is deeper. get your bait before you go out there bac is $3.00 a doz. and thats what you get 12.

the last I heard some are being taken in 50 ft of water by perch anglers. The big cat bite is on though. weighed two this week over 20 lb. a Lott of cats being taken by eye anglers working slow and low in front of shades and Shorewood 45-50ft.

    Raab,

If you don't like them that's fine, you're entitled to your own opinion, but don't patronize those of us that do.  And spell it right, Burbot.  I, personally, can't wait for them to come in, but that won't be for at least 2 months.  AT LEAST!!!  You don't see me on this board talking smack about the trout any chance I get.  BTW, you're shocked about BAC???  They've been screwing the fishermen of this area since they opened.  Just bait is $3 a doz. now.

    PanfishSlayer,

Listen to PI angler, he knows what he's talking about.  If I didn't live in the west county I'd go see Andy for bait and info.

Just a sidenote about BAC. I moved here in August, first thing I wanted to do was get my out of state license and go fishing at Presque. I had a cable bill and asked them if I could get my resident license with that as proof of residency , they informed me you had to have a drivers license. Well to make along whine short, my wife went to Poff's at Pymy and was given a residents license with the cable bill. So mine was 53 dollars. Will not do business with them again.

Well, no real luck this past weekend beyond Bass.  Two or more dozen in just a few hours, so at least it was a lot of fun.
