this forecast for erie is looking good. I know its not exactly COLD but with this trend it looks like steelhead season could be coming up.. im sorta jumping the gun i guess but i can't wait

    The Steelies will not be in till Sept 19th.
     
    How do I know???

    Thats the Day I'm scheduled for Surgery that could put me out of commission for a few weeks..........

    Dont get too excited. This year will be one if not the lowest as far as fish returns are concerned. there are only half as many fish expected this year compared with last year. many were infected with VHS and died. I was told this by a good friend with very close ties with guys in the know.

    it will be a very bad season.

    Should be another great year, typical amount of fish were around this past weekend.  No doubt the next rain will bring in enough fish for the crowds to show up.
