They come out of no where and run when the steelhead do but are alot meaner.  If looks could kill I would've been dead last season when I walked by a group of them loading up on fish like Bill Clinton with Mcdonals's french fries.  I just made a cast a two in the area as I had been making my way downstream.  There were a load of fish in front of them and they started talking some jibberish to each other when I got near.

Are you sure they weren't Slovakian or maybe Ukranian.  Maybe Polish?

They talk ---- and hook fish in the tail  and  tag them  thats them.  got the numbers this yr ill hang them,

Jeez, There are some of us that will have to print that out and carry it with them. Some people have a tough time speaking english.

they have come to the ohio state campgrounds at pymatuning at times and spent the whole night drinking wodka and singing off-key.  my  buddies would show up in the morning and run them out.  did not know they were a problem up your way. 

had a brief run in with 3 of them on elk. they were probly russian, dont know but they definately foriegn and didnt belong here. they moved in and started fishing the hole we were in. they snagged our lines 3-4 times, ater the 4th time I had enough. I walked up to the main offender, told him I hope he understands english and proceded to tell him if it happens again he was going swimming. they said a few words to one another and took off with thier tails between thier legs.
BTW I'm a marine that stands 6'4 and 250lbs of muscle so I would say they did the right thing.

No... the snagging in the tail and keeping that bothers me and many more on here..

    Very well said.  I think some are Albanians.  But seriously there are sooo many rules breakers on the tribs you'd think the fish were good to eat.  Personally I'd never eat anything out of the "nut" above manchester, and nothing out of elk above Rt. 20.  Most of the time I have a good rule of thumb: If it looks like a steelhead it's usually good.  If it looks like a rainbow trout, yuck!  And if it looks like a hideous experiment from the island of Dr Moreau . . . . . Give it to a pixburger.  They'll eat anything!  LOL.   Sorry guys, I had to.

It should only matter that they are snagging, not their ethnicity. 

you know i been going to erie for some time now. i seen them up there i have pic  of them .you don't what to know what i seen. this people don't care if the fish commision there or not. i seen wco watching them and did n't do nothing. what the the hell going on. you do the same your****be grass . do this guys have some thing that we don't have.  wco leaves this guys alone. i wish i can post some pic but i have to up grade my computer. when i do you see some stuff you  won't beleave. when i fish i take pic .ok boys  [ dream on]

when i see a post about ASSUMED russians being hung for how they fish i wonder how in the world does anything enter or get caught in the tribs?

the russians are coming, the russians are snagging, the russians are netting, ecoli is reported, vhs is reported, brown trout eggs cant be found, mupheres, overdheres, downheres are coming, fish ladders arent coming soon enough, donny beaver is coming, the pfbc isnt stocking, people are going to get hung, people have guns, parking lot is too small, everybodys snagging, no emerald shiners, baits shops arent open early enough, the water is too low, the water is too high, the fish arent in early enough, not enough fish late enough, the water is too clear, the water is too dirty, people are dragging fish on the parking lot, people are crossing lines, people are fishing over each other, people are taking others spots, too many people on the wall, too many lawn chairs on the wall, too many leaves, too many campers, too many fishing reports, too cold, too hot, too much ice, rod tips too frozen, line is too bright, line is too dark, drag is too stiff, drag is too loose, rod is too long, rod is too short, etc... get them russians.

I was fishing the flats on Elk last fall and two foreign guys for whom I think were Russian were fishing next to me. Whenever they hit their limit another guy would come up and take their fish away. They must have kept about twenty fish between the two of them. Only females though. I caught a really nice hen that had eggs spilling out of her and they were begging me for it. I then released it and told them to get lost. Where is the PFBC? They really need to start cracking down on this unethical behavior!

Thanks for the numbers skip I will put them in my cell phone and will call next time I see this happening! That day last year I was a mile or so away from my car and without my phone. But that won't be the case anymore!
