New to fishing presque isle

I now live in erie and go to college here and love to fish.  Does anyone know where to fish presque isle, what kind of presentations for certain fish there, and preferably close to downtown?

Go down to the presque isle angler bait shop at the east ave boat ramp pull up a chair and talk with the anglers that frequent the bay, steelhead, bass, pan fish, toothy fish, you will make some local fishing friends that will be more than willing to give you a guided tour on your next fishing expedition.
